Best of the best

                “When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us” – Helen Keller

         End. Why? Do we really need to have this? We may end it but can we still have our friends be just fully attached to us? So hard, really hard to let go. Countless memories will always be remarkable within my heart and in my soul. And it is classified by two sides which is the side of happiness and the side of sorrow.

       I know that everyone has already experienced that feeling where a smile in your face would come out without knowing it and that is because of remembering a memory that gave you somehow a fulfillment in your life. Or maybe you just want to have that moment again. Oh God, every little thing that is around me, I will surely miss these. If I could just stay here but I have no choice but to choose the right one and continue what I accomplished. And now, just a few more days, it will already be our graduation. Sigh. Happy yet having a pinch of pain in the heart.

          Right now, I am already advancing a word to us, CONGRATULATIONS!

Achieving With Purity

                Plans, goals, wishes and dreams, we all have this to have that determination that can push us to do more and exert everything to achieve what we want for our future.

                It is hard to build up our future, it has plenty steps to finish, it has plenty of rules to follow. Hard very hard. But anything can be possible to a person that has a full inspiration to fulfill his/her needs to overcome the things that we should do. Yes, again it is hard but don’t make it so complicated just make it go smoothly and in a very serene way, you’ll someday achieve the things that you have planned to achieve.

                Look around, feel the beauty of the creation of our beloved Lord God. Feel relax, behind everything is a millions of problems but don’t make that as a reason to give up what you have instead, make it the one which will serve as your inspiration to have the eagerness in doing the things that is required for you to apply. Be brave, be fearless, trials will always be there but take that as your challenge and just move forward, smile, and do more. Family, friends, love ones, them, treat them as your reason to not to choose the negative side and just take the positive side and always remember the reason why are you doing that thing.

                I am choosing to be a computer expert on the future. And I say that I would do anything that is possible to make my dreams exist in the future.

                Hard? There is no hard thing on the person that is determined enough in achieving.

CHANGE: It starts with me

Modification for Betterment

         “Change is the only permanent thing in this world.” A phrase that we always use but we all know that this is full of truth and nothing but the truth.

         Through in a blink of an eye, things may probably change. Look and observe everything, change is really happening but is it elevating or being destroyed? DESTROYED! Truth hurts they say. But can you make move and start the change for our development?

                Every individual has its own capability on leading. Doing simple thing may give a big impact to a one person. And doing good things may push other person to change and follow your goodness. No one can predict what is going to happen. Don’t be afraid on doing a change but make sure that it is for the betterment and not going to the worst.

   Actions that are happened in our history gave us the things that we can see where it is hard to see the development. But wait! Cheer up! We can change the outcome of every scene that has acted. Unity of every man is very useful and it would bring us in our very own goals. I volunteer; I can step forward and stop the change that we need. Yes, it may be hard. But what is hard if we are brave enough in sustaining ourselves and be determined to act not just for yourself but also to every person in this world.

  Thing happen uncontrollably, focus, have that desire to make people believe you. I start that change going to development. BE WITH ME!

                

Insight for Kannawidan

Bringing Our Traditions Back,
Inspiring Others To Comprehend

         “A feast of all heritage, practices and products” deeply and strongly means of KANNAWIDAN.

            Month of February. We expect to witness the festivity of Kannawidan, full of different culture, arts, traditions and many more to see. With this, we showcase the different products from different towns of Ilocos Sur. The creativity of men and women, young and elders, new and expert burst out on this event. This festive event was only launched last 2008 by the Leadership of then Gov. DV Savellano. Its main goal is to influence every individual to learn how to have the sustainability and preservation that we see, because anything may be our trademark in the future.

           Enjoyment of local and foreign tourists is one of the true aims of this event. Contests and competitions of elementary to high school students bring the highlights of it. Tribal rituals, choir competitions, marching band contest, tribal music ensemble, dance drama, traditional folk dance, contemporary dance, street dancing show dance are some of its contests and competitions. This would push students and the entire school to their excellency through their talents and skills. By this, they may lead other people to not to hide their different skills and just share what God has given to them. Indigenous music is loudly heard from this occasion. And the contest that would really amaze people is the “Pinaka Contest”. Here, we bring out or we showcase the products that are extraordinary, very rare and unique from our eyes. This would amaze every individual.

              The most important here are the lessons that we should apply. Preservation, a big impact that would give us a treasure in the next generation. And if Ilocanos may truly learn this, this will sure be known as our trademark.

              Learning to application, yes, a kind process. And this could give the path to the journey that we really wish for.

Reflection for the Third Grading Period

#Throwback; Hectic Periods

          Remembering my experiences during this third grading period, one word to describe, HECTIC!

          We were flooded with different school activities. Values Education, English, Theater Arts, Photography, Debate, Social Studies Month Celebration. Those were hard. So hard! Being an organizer in an event,an MC, a participant, a contestant, totally ever super hard. But behind those things, I thank God because He gave me enough strength in doing those things. Luckily, every thing was all successful. I also thank those people who supported me althrough the way. Thanks Guys! I love you all! Now, the next grading is coming. Harder. But I'm ready to face it stronger! Ready here ^^ 

          Here comes 4th grading. Lord guide me more please. Let me have it amazingly.

New Year, New Me

Change for the Better

          Leave 2014, forget your mistakes, remember your lessons. Now, face 2015 whole heartedly change your negativities, change life for the better.

          New years are sometimes what we call our new hope. It is where we start over a new destined chance for us. Witnessing a new year is a big blessing from God. Why? Because not everybody can experience the year that you'll encounter. Just like what happened to my to my Grandfather. Unfortunately he died last December 30, 2014, it was so hard, the pain was embracing us and well, all those things are still there. We still feel the agony of life. And every thing is really hard to accept. I still want him to be with him. Unluckily, there is no chance for us already. But still, he will always remain remarkable in our lives and he will always have a special place in our heart. It was hard for us to start our 2015 because we are crying because of too much sadness. But I'm hoping that someday we will be already alright. Rest in peace Tatang.

          God gave me the chance to experience 2015 so I will surely spend it with goodness of myself. This years, I'll change myself. I'll achieve more things not just for my own good but also for my family. I love each member of my family but surely, I will love them more and value them harder.

          2015, focus to it, believe on yourself. Have your new hope.

Just "THANK YOU"

          Experiencing every moment that symbolizes Christmas is a joy in every heart, know why? Simply, remembering our Lord Jesus Christ is a big opportunity for us to give back. His goodness to each and every one of us.

   

         Beautiful creatures can be seen everywhere. It may be in your right or left, your front or maybe at your back. Everything you see is made be Him, our Lord Jesus Christ. He sacrificed His life for us. He managed the pain even if it's hard. He protected us away from the hurtful scenes of life. He surrounded His whole life for us to have the happiness and excellency of the world can give. We can't do that right? no one can do that. Just Him. Because He is only one and He is the best of the best. Giving back the goodness is not hard,. We can do it in our own incredible and amazing ways.

    "Thank you" simple word but means a lot if it is from the heart or with a fulfilling feelings that we have. Not hard! Help other people and we all know that helping other people is also showing our love to our Lord god. Nothing is hard. Nothing is impossible. just do it from the heart and act with in the heart.

          Easy going, effortless life, casual life, these are what we are undergoing right now but I tell you, think deeper, deeper where you can agnize something about our exterminated reality, be informed by your atmosphere, climate change is covering you.

          They say, as time pass by we are experiencing a more and more upgraded kind of life. And by that we are being blissful to the things that we have right now. But seriously speaking, do we really need to be thankful or what so ever for that? Concentrate and anticipate do not only look at the constructive side, give care to the antagonistic side. It may be so negative but be alarmed, it is causing you and bringing you near to death. We are already experiencing the pain of our modern technologies and our reckless actions.  Yes, it's hard but I think we deserve it, for us to learn and acquire from it. Feel that heat? It's all our fault. Smell that polluted air? It's all our fault. See those millions of cut trees? It's all our fault. Feeling disappointed? But yes those are all true, NO JOKE. Now, what are you going to do?

          Nothing is hard or arduous to the person who is determined. Influence people to change, change people's instincts. Make move for the best not for our downfall!

          We do the sharing, we do the writing, we do the composing of words with full of ideas and knowledge on it and those words are all the fruit of our heart and mind.

    Humans have its own countless experiences in our lives. Experiences that never leaved our thought and its feelings that it brought to us which may either be happiness, sadness or fear. Things that is very hard to forget that remains remarkable in our lives. All of these, we can share it through writing and giving the story of yours to anybody in this world. You’ll do the connecting of words and by doing it you are already connecting to the life of other people.

      You write something or you tell something using your Universal Language which is English. This is very important because this can help our own ideas to come out and other people would learn from it. And they would know what they are going to do in their life also. This will also be easily to understand because we all know that the language English can be known to anybody because this language in possibly known to all.

      We share, behind this sharing you are and we are already connecting our heart and mind to others.

  Division? I thought that would only be happen in Mathematical Equations. Unfortunately, we have the fact here in the world that we are divided by many things because of the not so fair treatment of the people around us.

  Sadly, that not so fair treatment of every man makes our hearts fall and break into pieces. I could also say that being treated in a way that is not right is like a short horror story that is full of fear. And it's a happening that we don't want to happen not only to ourselves but also to every individual in the universe. Hard right? But we can't avoid those things to come and struggle our way. And I think that is already a part of our life that is very remarkable and very hard to remove. It's like a rope that is hard to untangle. It's like a crumpled paper that is hard to straight up. It's like a computer that is full of virus that is had to remove. And in a shorter sentence, it's like a problem with no solution. But they say that in life, every single thing is a choice. We all have rights. We have the right to live. We have the right to speak. We have the right to open our minds and have our non-ending opportunities in our life. 

  The unity of us makes our rights be upgraded. Have your own development, grab your opportunity.

Reflection for the Second Grading Period

Reminiscing The Past with A Pure Smile in my Face

               We learned, we are learning and we will always be learning. This might be a hard process but it will bring us  to a better us.

               Second grading is already ending, this grading thought me a lot of things that made me a stronger person. Many of my requirements was rushed out because we spent our two weeks in practicing for our Sabayang Pagbigkas. It was seriously hard but everything was still worth it because we garnered the second place and it made us really proud of ourselves. We also performed our presentation in the stage for the students and other teachers to watch our winning piece. It was a big opportunity for us to show them our talents and abilities as a team.

               When we are talking about computers, guess what? New information was again shared by Mrs. Vera Cruz. New techniques  of using the notepad and it's very amazing feeling because of discovering new things. This can help us to have our own browser and this can help us to have a good way to share our knowledge about anything.

               Third Grading come on! Let me learn from you also!

INTRAMURAL "Sustaining Excellence and Teamwork through Sports, Dances and Arts"

You and I as One!

          With the greatness of excellence and a valuable quality of teamwork, we gain the betterment of sports, dances and arts.

          Intramural is one of the things that completes you whole school year. Your schooling would be very boring without this event. This event puts up every student to reveal their greatness in sport games. This builds higher level of their confidences.

          

           I am a graduating student and I surely did everything to make and spend my intramural with plenty of unforgettable things or moments. It was a bit hard because it was raining but come hell of water, we'll still continue to conduct our dear intramural. I may say that my intramural is indeed enjoyable. I experienced to be a facilitator on other events and to be the scorer of the basketball game. It was thrilling but it was still challenging. As a senior, of course we supported the Seniors Team. And luckily, they won! We were shouting and screaming all through out the game but everything was still very worth it. Even though my throat already aches, over all was still alright because we were enjoying every time, every minute and every second of our day. One of the game that was very thrilling was the game of basketball and volleyball between the Grade 9 and the 4th year. And I'm proudly saying that the Seniors Team made it and downed the Juniors.

          

         Hit it Seniors! Championship is on our hands.

My Teacher, My Hero

   A mother, a sister or a brother, a friend, adviser, or the best super best friend among the people around you, you want all this in a pack? You're exactly looking for a teacher.

  Nothing is more fortunate than us because we have the teachers that touches our hearts. And surely, each one of us is very thankful of having them. You and I are definitely not here without our teacher's help. All in all with no doubt, we consider I mean we should consider them our hero. Why? Because they are working beyond their work. Even though they aren't our real parents, they still extend their helping hands in times when we are downed by some difficult situations. They also serves as a good influence in our lives.

  Computing, correcting grammars, analyzing and etc., we are going to school not only because of this things. By going to school, we are also learning to be more practical and more knowledgeable about the things in our daily life. Teachers are also endless, because they will still be there who will lead and support us for our better future.

  Teachers are seriously and will always be remarkable in our hearts. My simple words for them with full of sincerity, THANK YOU SO MUCH DEAR TEACHERS!

          Alertness brings everyone to be ready in everything such as problems, issues, tragedies and any kind of danger. It makes us ready and for us to be aware of what's gonna happen.

          We can't predict the things that might happen in our life. Everything comes like a wind so you should be and we should be alert in everything that comes. Being armed and having a good defense is also a good help to each and everyone because it leads us for our good sake. It can also help us to have a better life because it improves our knowledge and learning about what to do and what we should not do. Not only to our self but also top others because by doing it you can inspire other people to do the right thing also.

          We need not to be weak, stand and be ready for everything that might come.

Modern Day Hero

The Savior, the Protector

            The person that is always there for me, the one that never left me behind, and the one who brought me to be a magnificent lady, I call her my very own “HERO”.

                Hero? Does the only qualified person that can be called a hero is the one who has a superpowers? Well, for me it’s a big NO! Why? Because literally, a hero is defined as a “savior or a protector”. Anyone can be called a hero and anyone can be a savior or a protector to anyone also. I myself have the person whom I call a hero. She has no super powers, she is not like Flash that moves really fast, not like Captain America that has a very strong punch but my hero has its natural way. She protected me since the day that I was made until now. She is guiding me although the way of my journey. I know she already sacrificed many things for me to have a beautiful and a productive life. Imperfectly perfect, she is still my everything. And the girl that I've been talking about is none other than my dearest Mother. No one can beat her abilities, the love that she gives within me is one of the best that I ever and always have. And no doubt, I’m proudly saying I love her till the very last breath of mine.

               Lastly, come Flash, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, and all Superheroes, my Mother will always be the best!

         Bawat bansa ay may sariling wika, katulad ng ating pinakamamahal at pinagmamalaking Wikang Filipino.

      Minsan nang nasubok ang ating Wikang Filipino. Ginusto itong palitan ng mga dayuhan na sumakop sa ating bansa lalo na ang mga Kastila. Kung ikaw ba, papayag ka bang ang wika ng ibang bansa ang siyang gagamitin ng bansa nating Pilipinas? Kung ito'y iisipin ng mabuti, para narin tayong inaalipin at ginagamit ang isang bagay na hindi naman natin pag-aari. Ang paggamit ng hindi sa atin ay nagpapakita rin na hindi natin kayang mabuhay o mabuo kung wala sila. Papayag ka ba? Alam kong hindi. Hindi dapat kaibigan! Ipaglaban mo ang iyong karapatan, malaya ka at huwag na huwag mong hayaan na dinidiktahan ka na lamang ng ibang tao. May utak ka at may puso ka, gamitin mo ito tungo sa totoo mong kalayaan. Tayong mga Pilipino, iba-iba mang kultura, iba-iba mang tradisyon tulung-tulong parin tayo at huwak kamay tayong magkaisa para sa ating bansa at para maiangat ang ating pagkakaisa sa paggamit ng ating wika.

      Gamit ang ating pagka-Pilipino, tutungo tayo sa kalayaang ating pinakaaasam-asam.

Reflection for the First Grading Period

The Impact of First Grading Period

                This school year started with a blast, there might be troubles and problems that I have encountered but overall it was still enjoyable.

        Two months have already passed; I have learned many things because of my teachers. They are teaching us new things that can help us in our daily life and things that can develop our learning. Our teachers also increased our knowledge about the things around us. Particularly, I already learned how to have my own blog and how to manipulate my blog. And by using my blog, it can help me by completing my requirements in school and my notes.

             Challenges and problems were never absent. They are the one which makes and bring everything into a complicated one. Though it’s hard but all I can do is to accept everything and face it efficiently and work for it. All I did was to have a positive self-concept and did not give up in solving it. One of the big problems that I have encountered was about our Jingle
Presentation. It was hard for us to accept the fact that we didn't win the contest. It’s all because we really sacrificed many things to be chosen as a representative in the Grand Finals. We were preparing it for a one and a half month and it was really a heart broken scenario when they announced the result. But what we did was to accept and move on in what happened because we know that there might be other competition that is really for us.

          High school must be a remarkable one for every student, and I’m doing and spending everything for me to be happy and to have unforgettable moments here in Ilocos Sure National High School.

SONA of P-Noy

THE 5TH STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS

       July 28, 2014, the Fifth State of The Nation Address or what we call SONA of our President Benigno Simoun Aquino III has been successfully delivered. Some were disappointed but some felt proud to our President. Let me share you my own reaction and opinion on it.

    We, Filipinos are always waiting the words of our President because we are basing if how good are they in being a leader through their words. In SONA, we heard and discovered the different accomplishment of our President in his time on handling our country. We always expect to hear a 100% goodness and we always ignore the negatives. Through good governance, we have been regaining the trust of the market, of the world and of our own people in government. The 1:1 police to pistol ratio has already reached. And growth of economy is progressing continuously. These are only some of the accomplishments of our President which are mentioned in his SONA. I can see that he is doing his everything to be a good leader and for us to feel that he is being an excellent President to our entire country. I can see his hard work to bring our country in a higher economy. The bad thing is we are only depending to our President, yet some of us are not doing their own obligations and simple responsibilities. We always wanted to have a better country, we must start moving within ourselves and we’ll support each other’s part.

             Act and do not complain. Work with a good purpose.

Gutom At Malnutrisyon Sama-Sama Nang Agapan

Hunger and Malnutrition
End it Now!

              Different calamities are coming, let us now be ready. Hunger and malnutrition, we should not let it happen and we will fight it hand in hand.

       
        In one year, typhoons are attacking us which is giving many people to suffer in things. Floods, landslides are only some examples to those things that might happen and things that a calamity can give us. It is also one of the reason why many people doesn't have their own shelter, big waves and floods are eating their houses and their other stuffs. All those things pushes every families to join and stay in the evacuation center. There, they might find a safe place for them but hey don't have enough supply of food for each one of them. And because of having not enough supply of food they might suffer from hunger. And when you do not have enough food to take it means you also do not have a source for the energy of your body. Everything of this, your body might fall into a malnourished one. So, everyone of us should not let it happen, we will not let that someone will experience that.
        Be alert, put down the calamities and we will all end the hunger and malnutrition.

May I congratulate you for your good performance as our President here in the Philippines.

You've been handling everything properly and squarely. And I salute you for that. Some big problems in our economy is being solved because of your good leadership. One of this is the "Illegal Black Sand Mining" that happened right here in my hometown. A big thanks for the government because you have successfully stopped them for the illegal mining.

This past few months, "Pork Barrel Scam" is the biggest problem in our country. And now, somehow those people that are involved are already sent in the jail. I just hope all the people that are involved will also be caught and send it to the jail. They've been stealing the money of our country and it just suits them to go and suffer in the jail and I am hoping that you would do that for us.

Continue your excellence Mr. President, I know someday our country will achieve its ambition.
